I’m extremely disappointing the color on the black stepstool is coming off my hands are completely covered as I’m trying to set it up and I can’t even finish setting it up because the wood is uneven so the steps don’t get screwed in properly because the T3 nails are too short I have the same one for my daughter same color and I noticed that the color was starting to come off and thought I was just because of where in tear but now I know it’s because it was made extremely poorly if I could return both of them I would 100% return both of themWe had this thing for over a week, I absolutely loved this purchase, it’s a life saver for me. My LO (28lb.) always wants to be up in my arms when I was doing stuff in the kitchen. Now, She is able to see everything I’m doing.And the quality of this is very good when consider the price, it was made with pine wood so it will be much lighter than anticipated but surprisingly sturdy. Also, it’s super easy to assemble too, everything was labeled with step to step illustrated instructions. Only issue I did ran into while I was assembling this was the pre-drilled hole for the steps, but not really a big deal just need extra strength to screw the bolt in. I used the tool was included in, it took me about 10minutes to put it up. I think if you use the screws gun it should be a lot faster.I’m planning to remove the top part when she out grow, which will make it become a stepping stool. We love things that she can grow into, so this is perfect.The brown/cherry color was delivered and looks very brown-orange, not matching the photo. The assembly kit also came with a couple of missing screws.This is exactly what we were hoping for. I've read other reviews concerned about the sturdiness, it's a solid piece of furniture while it's probably best to make sure it is up against accounter for safety reasons we haven't had any issues or concerns with it being in the middle of the floor while our sons on it. My only complaint is, now that we have it and see how much our toddler loves helping in the kitchen, I wish we got one that was adjustable so that he could use it as he grows. He's average size for 20 months and its a good height for him right now. He could probably gain a couple inches and still be very comfortable on it. I guess we'll see how long it takes him to outgrow it.Had it for 2 months and one of the boards fell off. Was lacking wood glue.Bought it to make home decor. Unfortunately the holes don’t line up making it VERY challenging to assemble. Glue came in glued with some of the already put together pieces. For the price I would have purchased a different one.Also wish the stand adjusted height as well. Oh well my loss.The side pieces seem to be held on with just a single dowel rod and glue. The glue came undone and the piece would spin freely. After time it became worse. Had to be repaired with a couple of braces.Using it for my great grandaughter to stand at kitchen sink. Want be able to with the top step being unsturdy. This is due to not being able put the screw at the middle front.
